Chad Brock

Chad Brock joined Lavender Hoffman Emery in January 2023. He specializes in litigating hospital billing disputes in state and federal courts nationwide. His practice primarily consists of defending individuals against balance billing by medical providers. In addition, Chad represents employers, health plans, plan administrators, fiduciaries, and claims administrators in healthcare reimbursement matters and ERISA litigation.

Prior to joining Lavender Hoffman Emery, Chad served as Associate Claim Counsel for a specialty insurance company, where he provided legal assistance and guidance on complex insurance claims, insurance coverage disputes, and bad faith litigation. For several years, Chad worked for a prominent insurance defense firm, where he represented policyholders against a variety of liability claims and insurers in first-party and insurance coverage disputes. In 2022, Chad received the prestigious “Rising Star” accolade in insurance coverage litigation from Super Lawyers, a distinction based on peer recognition and outstanding professional achievement in legal practice.
